Flatwoods Cafe in Lamont! My wife and I ventured over to Lamont for supper last week and we're sure glad that we did! Food was amazing... best Pizza ever! People were friendly and kind! We'll go back as often as we can and you should too!! Oh and sorry... forgot to take pictures before we started eating...
I have heard about this place off and on for awhile and we finally decided to try it for dinner. And, oh man, was it SO worth it!!!! We started with the large order of pizza puffs-bite sized pieces of pizza dough, deep fried, sprinkled with parmesan and seasoning, and served with marinara (warning: this would have easily fed 4 people) and the bacon wrapped dates drizzled with BBQ sauce-these alone were worth the trip!!!! I'll be dreaming about them. Then came their wood fired pizza in extreme (a typical supreme but with MORE). The crust is homemade. The cheese was delicious. We wisely chose a small 6 slice and still had leftovers to take home. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. All in all, we will be coming back...already know what we're trying next! Also, there is a full bar!
We should have took a picture! Food was amazing! Husband had the beef philly and he said it was the best one he has prob ever had! I had the fresh hand dipped fried chicken tenders and fries! Delicious! Daughter had sweet potato fries and veggies! Then we topped it off with a homemade slice of turtle cheesecake! Owners are awesome and so was our server! Thank you for a great dining experience!
This place is amazing we stopped in on our way to vacation and the inside is so cozy and welcoming and the staff are so nice! The pizzas are delicious so bring an appetite!!
Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is amazing. We got fried green tomatoes, mozzarella sticks, side salads, and a sausage pizza. Everything was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. I would highly recommend it and would plan on stopping here any time I’m passing through in the future.
Wow! What a find! Great food with lovely flavor combinations! Was traveling and this place was sooo good, I just had to stop on my way back from my destination! The toasted beet salad was delish and the BLT…divine! Will continue to eat here anytime I am in the area! Service was wonderful, staff were warm and inviting, chef checked on us serves times. A must stop in this Florida region! BRAVO!
Wonderful dining experience. Unique dishes & creativity. Steven, owner & chef remarkable. “Smash Burgers”, bacon wrapped dates, peanut butter pie( best I ever eaten)-oh my. All around great & wait staff are sweethearts!
A great spot to catch some delicious food while traveling on 27. We had the Margherita, pizza, and the mozzarella sticks. Both were fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive and offered suggestions. Closed Mon-Tue-Wed.
